Once again Social Media has taken the hit whilst we have been really busy designing, creating and dispatching orders – our lovely posties have just come and picked up 16 parcels this morning (bearing in mind we are just a small two person run from home business!!). That doesn’t include the multitude of other orders for local delivery and our annual ‘what on earth can I create for our awesome teachers at the minibeasts’ schools!’ panic that sets in at this time of year!!!

However we are whizzing by with a very special pair of makes for a very special person.

The Dragon mentioned the other day that she has run a toddler group for the past 15 years. To celebrate their 15th birthday they launched the Mini Movers Unsung Hero Award – to celebrate the volunteers who bring something to our village and yesterday we announced the winner.

In true community spirit we recycled a piece of local oak and the Dragon created the award for our very worthy winner, Phil Knight, from Anstey Community Library as well as a personalised frame for his certificate.

This is probably our most special creation ever because of the reasons behind why it was created. Well done to Phil, long may the library continue. 😃
We also wanted to give a quick shout out to the amazing people in the Jubilee Hall office and at Anstey Parish Council who continue to support Mini Movers – both in the award and in our weekly sessions. 😃
